The ancient waters of the Tennesee River were once known for their beautiful mussel shells. Early Cherokee would make shell gorgets and other jewelry from the shells harvested there. 

The Ancient Waters Pearl Pendant is more correctly called Mother of Pearl. The pendant is a generous size, about 2.25". Sizes will vary because these are natural materials, and because no two shells are exactly the same, no two necklaces will be exactly the same.
