A vibrant grand parade opens the annual Red Earth Parade & FallFest Powwow in downtown Oklahoma City. Witness representatives of more than 100 Native American tribes in full tribal regalia make this parade one of the nation's most colorful, unique events.

A special, limited attendance Red Earth Art Preview & Awards Reception provides guests the opportunity to shop the Festival before it opens to the public. Artists will be ready with their exquisite examples of contemporary and traditional paintings, sculpture, jewelry, beadwork, basketry, and pottery.

Every year during the Red Earth Festival, we are privileged to bestow a significant honor upon a very deserving Native artist. Recognition as the Red Earth Honored One is one of the highest honors given in the Native art community. It is presented to a master artist whose art has been substantial throughout their life.

Festival guests will experience the artistic creations of some of America’s most celebrated Native artists as they offer their creations for sale. Special presentations of tribal dance and demonstrations, will be featured throughout the event.

Red Earth hosts several events and classes throughout the year that promote the traditions of American Indian arts and cultures.
