Youth Art Show & Competition features the art of Native students
It's never too early to create artwork for the 2020 Red Earth Youth Art Competition & Show sponsored by the James H. & Madalynne Norick Foundation in Oklahoma City. Native youth ages 9-18 from throughout Oklahoma and the region are invited to participate in the event.

Youth Art Competition Details
The Red Earth Youth Art Competition is divided into three age groups ages 9-12, 13-15, and 16-18. Participants can enter eight art categories including pottery, painting/drawing, graphics/photography, sculpture, basketry, beadwork, cultural items and jewelry. Prize money is awarded to the top three winners in each division category, along with a "Best of Show" award.
- Limited to one (1) entry per category. No limit on number of categories per artist
- Group projects not accepted. Individual artwork only. All entries must be created by the artist
- All entries must be display ready (ex: wired for hanging, no glass) Maximum size hanging art 24x36
All youth artists are required to show tribal affiliation in accordance with Public law 101-644 (104 Stat. 4662, Act of 11/29/90) with one of the following: Tribal Membership Card; Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood
