New parade route for 2019
The City gathers as Red Earth Parade celebrates annual Festival
A new parade route and date are scheduled for the 33rd edition of the Red Earth Festival.
The Red Earth Festival Parade is set for 10 am Saturday, June 8 and will travel south on Walker Avenue from NW 6th Street to Sheridan Avenue, just three blocks west of the Cox Convention Center in downtown Oklahoma City.
The new Saturday date corresponds with the Red Earth Pow Wow weekend dates (Saturday, June 8 & Sunday, June 9), allowing more dancers to participate in the parade if they choose.
Enjoy beautiful downtown Oklahoma City and watch America's most unique parade as it circles the Myriad Botanical Gardens - one of the country's most acclaimed urban parks.
The streets of Oklahoma's capitol city will be filled with Native bands, floats, honor guards, dignitaries and tribal princesses as they participate in our 33rd Anniversary Celebration.
