In the Spotlight: Spirits Rising

Contemporary Choctaw artist, Carolyn Bernard Young, is featured in a one-woman show entitled "In the Spotlight: Spirits Rising," on view at the Red Earth Art Center April 3 through May 30 in downtown Oklahoma City. Young has received numerous awards for her beautiful artistic pieces and says "I am grateful to spend every day carving clay and exploring my heritage for future work.

Red Earth Festival

When 31st Annual Red Earth Festival opens at the Cox Convention Center Friday June 9 in beautiful downtown Oklahoma City, American Indian artists, dancers and singers from throughout America will gather to celebrate the richness and diversity of their heritage with the world. For three exciting days, Oklahoma City will be at the center of Western and Native American art and culture as more than 30,000 people gather to celebrate.
