Native Exchange Information
The Red Earth Festival has grown into the largest, most comprehensive Native American visual and performing arts event of its type in the world. Last year’s festival was the most successful in 11 years, with more than 26,000 people in attendance. We expect exciting growth to continue during our 2008 event. The Festival will attract people from not only Oklahoma City, but from throughout the nation. This is a great opportunity for your organization to reach a wide audience. We invite companies and non-profit organizations to participate by applying for a booth in the 2008 Native Exchange Vendor Area. The following opportunities are available:
SALES: Space will be available for sales (individuals or companies) of such items as books, magazines, recorded music, blankets and their end products such as coats, jackets & pillows, Aromatherapy (candles, lotions & oils, etc.) packaged food products, and by suppliers of items used by artists in the creation of “Native American Art” and dance regalia.
DISPLAY: Space will be available for the promotion of programs or products by non-profit organizations and businesses (such as health services, banking institutions, tribal/federal/state agencies or programs, museums, historic sites, and others) which provide services or work with American Indians and who are interested in distributing their written materials to potential members or clients.
Please download the attached guidelines and application. Applications may be returned to the Red Earth offices by mail or fax.
In addition to having a vendor booth, you can also place an advertisement in our Festival Program Guide showing your support for Native American culture that will be seen and appreciated by thousands. Attached are the advertising agreement and rates. This year, we are offering a 20% discount on ad rates to those who participate as a vendor.
