With your help, Red Earth, Inc. has the opportunity to increase our endowment fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Through our participation in the John Kirkpatrick Centennial Endowment Challenge any individual gifts made to our endowment fund through the end of the year will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000 for a possible total fund increase of $10,000.
The Kirkpatrick Family Fund and the Oklahoma City Community Foundation are offering the challenge opportunity to charitable organization endowment and scholarship program endowment funds in recognition of the 100th anniversary of John Kirkpatrick’s birth. In 1979, Mr. Kirkpatrick offered the first of seven “Kirkpatrick Challenges” as a way to increase organizations endowments and attract new donors. These challenges would become a hallmark of Mr. Kirkpatrick’s philanthropy.Our endowment serves as an annual source of income that ensures we are able to carry out our mission both now and into the future.
