The Red Earth Education Committee has an exciting project to integrate art, history, language, math and science into daily lessons that include Oklahoma’s unique Native American heritage.
For 35 years, we have been dedicated to promoting the richness and diversity of Native American art and cultures. For the past two years the Red Earth Education Commitee has worked with educators from throughout Oklahoma to develop grade appropriate lessons that focus on STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and math). We are now expanding that opportunity.
Please consider becoming a part of our team by developing lessons and activities that will engage school children. Not only will we provide you with professional development credit, you will receive professional recognition for your contribution.
It’s really easy to participate!
You may choose:
1. To modify an existing lesson plan that we provide, using the Red Earth standard lesson format, or
2. To use our format to create an original lesson.
